Yearbook class is an elective course that provides students with a more
job-like environment where they learn to collaborate with their peers in
order to create and publish one cohesive book. In this class, students
develop and improve organizational skills and self-discipline as they
are assigned to pages and responsible for completing those pages by
deadline. Besides that, yearbook class fosters creative thinking through
page design, content development, and photography. Ultimately, the job
of this class is to create a book that captures the memories of the year
and celebrates the achievements of the students.
Yearbooks will be sold starting the first day of school until the end of first semester for $30 a book. If you have two students from the same immediate family, you may get the family discount of 2 books for $50. After the first semester, the books will be sold for $35 each or a family discount of 2 for $60 on a first come, first served basis.
In an increasingly digital world, yearbooks still remain significant. First of all, the yearbook serves as a historical record of people, events, and accomplishments from that specific year. Besides that, printed yearbooks are more durable and less likely to be lost or forgotten compared to digital versions.
