My name is Abby Russell, I was born and raised here in Lewis County. After graduating from Centralia High School, I went and played softball at Centralia College and then transferred to Eastern Washington University. While at Eastern, I received my degree in Elementary Education with a minor in literacy, reading and writing. A few years later I received my master’s degree in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. I started my teaching career at Winlock where I taught first grade and coached high school softball and middle school basketball for the last four years. When I am not in the classroom, I like to spend time with my two Huskies, Kona and Grimm. I also like to spend time with my husband Dakota (who is a graduate of Pe Ell!) and my son.
